At the SCBWI Summer Conference I quickly bonded with Amy K. Nichols over our love of Dr. Who. Starting there and working our way through the world of fiction, we became fast friends. Recently, she invited me to guest blog for The Parking Lot Confessional. If you’ve never been to this site, let me just say that their motto is “Write until your fingers bleed.”

Nuff said.

I must have been inspired by this idea of perseverance though, because I wrote about surviving the vacuum of writing and coming out on the other side.
